62nd Summer Show

Kew Green
Kew was blooming for the KHS 62nd Annual Show on 26th August 2006. Gardeners showed their expertise by overcoming the difficult drought conditions this summer with a good display of fruit, flowers and vegetables in the marquee on Kew Green.
There were numerous children's entries and a large number of photographic and arts and crafts exhibits. The outside stalls were well attended and varied, while Jazz a la Carte entertained the large crowd.
The Show is a local "village" event, a marquee on the village green, the church bells ringing for a local bride and the local cricket team doing battle with willow and pad. It is open to all to participate, so do join us next year to exhibit or visit.
